Poll Results Reveal Fall TV Viewers Overwhelmingly Favor CBS Science Fiction Drama

The results of the magazine’s online poll also backed up those successes, with an overwhelming 1,548 online voters saying they preferred this show over all the others premiering in fall 2017. The second-place spot was earned by CBS’ “Star Trek: Discovery,” which pulled in a respectable 568 votes. Rounding out the top “best shows” on TV this fall was “Young Sheldon,” also on CBS. Garnering 225 votes, this show is a spin-off of “The Big Bang Theory,” which Variety touts as being “the biggest comedy on broadcast.”
